These charming children’s clogs are typical of the Lancashire clogs made in the late 1800s. With wooden soles, leather uppers, and metal clasps and toe caps they were sturdy footwear worn by women and girls working in the textile mills. Measuring approximately 15cm in length, they would be a sweet addition to any shoe collection and an interesting snapshot of social history.
