This beautiful piece is a great example of a travelling spice tin from the 1800s. The hinged lid, with its intricate pattern, has a functioning clasp and a brass handle. Inside are six spice compartments plus a central compartment. There is some paint loss which further shows its age, but it is in good condition overall. Measuring 19cm in diameter, and approximately 12 cm tall it would grace any kitchen shelf and certainly be a talking point.
