This wonderfully detailed miniature watercolour portrait depicts a lady seated in a chair wearing quite a statement bonnet! There is no visible signature but the picture is typical of the 19th century. It is set in a black-painted wooden frame, with wear commensurate with age, and an oval gilt mount. Measuring 6” x 5” overall it’s a beautiful piece that would suit any décor.
