Griffin and George retort stands
It is very rare to find a complete Griffin and George retort stand with stamped base, clamp and bosshead. It is virtually unheard of to find a pair. The base, clamp and boss head are all stamped G & G. Everything is in working order and the pair have wonderful patina. Just imagine what you could create with these lovely retort stands. They could become vase holders for flowers or lights. This is a great opportunity to acquire these two stands before we decide to keep and develop them ourselves! In all likelihood these were made between 1954 and 1960.
Base dimensions: 22 x 14cm, height approx 62cm.
