Brought back from Moscow in about 2000 for home decoration but never used, these two are ripe for your own Christmas inventiveness, The doll is a five layer Matryoshka and the egg is a three layer. Both fit snugly together and should be primed before painting your picture as they are bare wood.
Great provenance as they were bought by our very own Mr Mabel at a market himself, oh yes!
