Three vintage apothecary bottles including a 15cm (six inch) high medicine bottle, the original cork is inside the bottle. Pertussin, at least its modern version, is still in use today for the treatment of bronchial conditions. There is embossing on the two thin edges of the bottle. On one side it says “Pertussin” and the other “Taeschner”.
Bottle number two is a special tonic for the hair in amber brown glass measuring 13cm (five inches high).
Finally we have the little stunner which is a fluted blue bottle 9cm (three and a half inches) high which originally contained camphorated oil. This retains its original cork stopper.
