This onion pot (also known as the crying onion) from SylvaC dates from the 1950's - it can be delineated from later models by its 516 stamp - later models had a four digit number and a taller lid.
This is an example in really fine condition and will make a beautiful addition to your collection. It has no cracks or chips and light crazing appropriate to its age.
SylvaC face pots were made after 1937 when the company adopted the SylvaC logo and for an original, pre-1982 when the company stopped trading (re-opened in 1998).
