Passed down through multiple generations of Rochdale cooks, this glazed earthenware Pie Pot was certainly being used in the 1940’s.
Size: Height 18cm, diameter at rim 23cm.
Add Beef Skirt, home made stock, lots of potatoes, carrots or other root veg if available. Cook with lid on until soft. Remove lid and add a shortcrust top, pop back in the oven. Feed the family with pie! Wash, rinse and repeat! ‘Twas ever thus. 80 + years of service and not a mark on it. We love this pot!
