A delightful set of three hand signs that would have been used by marshalls in early motor racing events. There is a red on yellow Start sign, a white on black F sign and a red on yellow Finish sign. We guess that the F stands for Final Lap although there may be other interpretations! These signs are heavy metal that comes with old paintwork and some age related wear and rust. The metal posts have a spike at the end indicating that they may also have been embedded in the ground.
The signs come embedded in a oiled block of wood at a 45 degree angle. A perfect present for the enthusiast.
